Annie

Hey, I'm Annie, a nursing student who loves science and human anatomy. While I’m just setting out on my career in healthcare I’ve grown up with great role models in the industry, and I’m eager to grow and develop into the role. I think the human body is amazing and I’m excited to share my learning journey with the listeners!

When I'm not studying, I like to hang out with my nephew which is super fun and entertaining. I’m also a keen triathlete and compete in local races, up to national level. I love the physical and mental challenge of the sport, and nothing beats the feeling of smashing another personal best!

Trent

You know the kid at school that always had his head in an encyclopaedia? Hi, my name is Trent!

I’ve been a paramedic for over 15 years and I’m always looking for that next rabbit hole to get lost in (and maybe just a little dopamine hit IYKYK!). My career has led me down many paths, from well-resourced metro areas to single-officer remote locations, supporting high-risk sporting events, leading medical teams for large gatherings, developing disaster management protocols, and clinical supervision in ambulance operation centres.

My passion for clinical care extends from the simplest of low-acuity, right up to the action-packed high-acuity, and this podcast aims to explore everything in between to help us all become well-rounded clinicians.

Note: Gratuitous puppy content for attention. Meet Bam Bam, he’s the brains of this operation…
